Led by General Grievous and the Sith assassin Asajj Ventress on the rainy, ocean world, a LEGO MOC would require a surplus of gray pieces for the domed buildings and circular platforms on stilts that stood above the waves below (which could be conveyed through piles of disconnected blue and white pieces or simply blue baseplates).

The Battle of Kamino took place during the Clone Wars when Separatist forces attempted to destroy Kamino's cloning facilities used by the Republic. As such, a downed Star Destroyer would be a perfect centerpiece for a Battle of Jakku LEGO MOC. As seen in the Battle of Jakku which was featured best in the Battlefront II video game, several ships crashed into the planet's surface and were left to be picked over by scavengers such as Rey as seen in the beginning of The Force Awakens. Using elements from a variety of different LEGO sets such as AT-ATs and Imperial Star Destroyers, a desert and rocky landscape could be made before adding partially built and/or knocked-over vehicles from both the Empire and Rebellion. However, the desert world of Jakku was filled with debris from the massive battle in the aftermath. With no Sith Lords to rule the Empire, the Rebellion took advantage of the disarray and successfully knocked the Imperials out of power before the formation of the New Republic. The culminating battle of the Galactic Civil War that turned the Rebellion into the New Republic with the official defeat of the Empire, the Battle of Jakku took place 3 years after the events of Return of the Jedi and the destruction of the second Death Star.
